In my opinion, the single greatest shortage on even a well equipped fishing vessel is adequate positioning for rods during prep. This simple and low cost expansion of rod holders allows exactly that. This simplifies the preparation for an extensive outing and allows for creation of two lines of consideration say 20 pound rigs and 80 pound rigs in the gunnel rod holders.

Order came quickly, seems very well made. The part that fits in the rod holder could be a little sturdier, but seems really good for the cost.
